Microsoft Security Update (KB5014754) and Its Impact on Customers Using Certificate-Based AuthenticationAttention: Microsoft security update (KB5014754) affects customers using certificate-based authentication, such as smartcards. Users may be denied authentication when Microsoft activates full enforcement mode (planned for November 2023) if their certificates are not mapped to one of the strong mapping types mentioned in the Microsoft Knowledge Base. To avoid this issue, Horizon's upcoming release (possibly 2306) will allow admins to configure certificate mappings to one of the vital types from the console.
